Instructions for Use – Oral Icon® Polishing Pastes

For use with the Oral Icon® Tooth Polisher

Step 1: Preparation

Charge the device:
Ensure the Oral Icon® Tooth Polisher is fully charged before use. Use the included Type-C cable and a suitable USB charger.

Select the appropriate polishing head:
Choose the right head for your treatment:

• Cup-shaped polishing head: For general surface polishing.
• Umbrella-shaped head (with ridges): For interdental spaces and hard-to-reach areas.

Choose the correct polishing paste:
Select your Oral Icon® Polishing Paste based on your goal:

• Coarse Grit: For heavy stains and discoloration.
• Medium Grit: For weekly maintenance.
• Fine Grit: For a smooth finish and sensitive teeth.

Step 2: Applying the Polishing Paste

Attach the polishing head:
Securely attach the selected head to the Oral Icon® Tooth Polisher.

Apply paste:
Place a small amount (pea-sized) of polishing paste in the center of the head. Ensure it’s properly placed to avoid splattering during use.

Step 3: Polishing the Teeth

Turn on the device:
Press the power button to start the Oral Icon® Tooth Polisher.

Set the speed:
Use the mode button to choose your desired speed. Start with the lowest setting, especially if it’s your first time or if you have sensitive teeth.

Polishing motion:

• Gently place the rotating head on the tooth surface.
• Move the device slowly across the tooth, lifting the head slightly every 2–3 seconds.
• Polish each tooth individually for about 10 seconds. Avoid applying excessive pressure.

Step 4: After Polishing

Turn off and clean the device:
Switch off the device and remove the polishing head. Rinse it if needed or wipe it clean.

Rinse your mouth:
Thoroughly rinse your mouth with water to remove any remaining polishing residue.

Clean the handle:
Wipe the handle of the device with a clean, slightly damp cloth.

Additional Tips

• Recommended frequency: Once a week is usually sufficient. Fine Grit can be used more often if desired.
• Combine with daily oral care: Use the polishing paste in addition to your regular brushing routine. Continue brushing twice daily and cleaning between teeth.
• For sensitive teeth: Start with Fine Grit and use a low speed.
• When in doubt: If you have enamel wear, bleeding gums, or other dental concerns, consult your dentist before use.
